The Yamaha RXV473 is a versatile and hugely entertaining 3D-ready, high-definition, 5.1 channel AV receiver. It features 4 HDMI v1.4 inputs, network functions allowing Internet radio reception and media streaming, Apple Airplay connectivity and can even be controlled by an iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad or Android phone using a freely available app.

The '473 boasts 5 x 115 watts amplification - enough to really get your speakers moving, and with Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS HD Master Audio decoding, Blu-ray movies will sound better than ever. It also features Yamaha's sophisticated YPAO multi-point room calibration system, with a microphone to measure all the speakers in your room and adjust output for the best sound. Not only does it feature USB connectivity for direct digital iPod,iPhone and iPad playback and replay of music files stored on memory sticks or flash drives, but it also has advanced networking capabilities. Hook it up to your home network and internet connection and you be able to connect to hundreds of internet radio stations. You'll also be able to stream a variety of audio files, including lossless FLAC files and MP3s, from computers, NAS drives and other DLNA devices on you network. Plus the 473 has Apple Airplay built-in so you can stream music wirelessly from iPod Touches, iPhones, iPads and laptops running iTunes over your home network.
