Dali Mentor 5

The MENTOR 5 is the second floor standing speaker in the MENTOR Series. MENTOR 5 is slightly smaller than MENTOR 6 and thereby suited for living rooms, where footprint size matters. Despite the compact size, MENTOR 5 is able to reproduce full bodied sound at high sound pressure levels.

MENTOR 5 is a 2½ way loudspeaker with two 5" mid/woofers and a hybrid tweeter module with a 1" soft dome tweeter and a ribbon tweeter, known from MENTOR 6. The mid/woofers are closely related to the woofers in MENTOR 1, but optimized for the larger cabinet.

Like the other family members, MENTOR 5 has real wood veneer cabinet with curved rear and front sides. The baffles of the MENTOR speakers are glued to the main cabinet with special glue, which will prevent build-up of cabinet resonance.

For short signal path, the high quality crossover is positioned directly on the rear side of the dual binding posts.

Spikes are included with MENTOR 5.
