As you'd expect from the previous award-winning designs, the Chord Crimson VEE 3 is a pretty special cable for its price. The basic design benefits from development work carried out on their Signature interconnect and uses a pseudo-balanced/symmetrical cable design. Chord use this structure because it carries signals more accurately than a simple coaxial or asymmetrical cable. It also features highly insulated signal/return conductors and a floating shield arrangement. Reducing vibration both internally and externally is extremely important to signal quality.

VEE PLUGS

Carefully developed, the VEE plugs use a unique ABS enclosure and a special, non-compression cable clamp for benefits you can actually hear. Gold-plating applied to the contact area ensures improved signal transfer across a wider frequency response. The differences may be slight but improvements to sound include enhanced definition and detail plus improved rhythm and timing. Not bad for a simple plug!
